The client:
Provider of free encrypted drive, email, password manager and VPN services
The brief:
When their usual writer called in ill, Proton asked me to turn around 3 articles due for publication in a few days' time. These would form part of their latest campaign promoting Proton Mail, the world's largest secure email service.
I wasn't familiar with Proton, but immersed myself in their brand and TOV to rapidly gauge the tone and level of complexity required.
I delivered a trio of articles catering equally to an expert readership and lay audience, striving for total technical accuracy while breaking down tricky concepts for the wider customer base.

Joseph made my job an absolute dream! He nailed every brief, got along easily with key senior stakeholders, and demonstrated incredible research skills in writing long technical articles for one of the leading authorities in online privacy services. As part of a push to grow his LinkedIn presence and establish himself as a commanding voice in digital and performance marketing, Arham asked me to write 30 bitesized inspirational stories over the course of 3 months for his audience of 8,000 followers, documenting real-life underdogs, unlikely heroes and rags-to-riches entrepreneurs.

I produced a warm, sentimental account of Mind Tools' history, jam-packed with anecdotes, milestones and photos down the ages—all with an eye toward the next quarter-century.
